I make duct tape (with Duck tape) bags, various types of jewelry in all kinds of styles, and my newest love is drawing, particularly with Copic Sketch markers! As of June 2013, I've been using Copics for about 3 months.
I just turned 44 years "old" and feel younger than I have in a long time (: Which is seriously weird, since my daughter just turned 18.... I dunno how that happened! Where'd all that time go?!? She's actually been my inspiration to delve into the drawing world, because she's been doing it since she was a toddler. I still remember the look of wonder on her face, the first time she drew a crayon across a page and couldn't believe the color appeared there :D I love her drawings so much, I got one of them tattooed on my leg.
My other inspiration is my best friend, who got into zentangling last summer (2012.) She's fabulous at it. I did some doodling myself for a while, but I think I've realised that I like doing slightly more realistic/themed drawings and have left doodling by the wayside.
Other things I love.... reading! I do it all the time. I read pretty much every type of fiction, but sci-fi/fantasy are my top loves, followed closely by thriller/mystery type stuff. My library room has overflowed into the rest of my house, and I own about 4000 books. Yes, I have read them all. I also love to cook and create my own recipes, but I am NOT a baker (; I've travelled all over the world and am certainly not done with it - if only it weren't so darn expensive!
When I'm not reading, drawing, cooking or watching TV, I'm gaming on my PC. All time love is Mass Effect, and I've played the series 20+ times. In fact I'm replaying again right now, so I think I'll get back to that......
